Learn How to Photograph Arboretum's Natural Beauty

Photographer will show attendees how to take great photos at Laurelwood Arboretum next month.

A photo walk through Laurewlood Arboretum will be held on Sunday, May 19 at 1 p.m.

Dawn Healey, president of the Essex Photo Club, will show attendees how to capture the arboretum’s beauty with a camera.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a camera and comfortable shoes.

Laurelwood has a lot of different early spring blubs and perennials blooming now. It is home to hundreds of different azaleas and rhododendrons.

Dozens of dogwoods and climbing hydrangeas, lilacs, and other plants will be flowering in May.

The workshop is free for Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum (FOLA) members, $15 for nonmembers.

FOLA is a non-profit organization that works to preserve the natural beauty of the 30-acre preserve. The arboretum is located at 725 Pines Lake Drive West.
