League of Women Voters Elects New Officers
Non-partisan group sponsors candidate forums.
The Wayne League of Women Voters elected officers for the 2013-2014 year at a recent meeting.
The newly elected officers are: Jane Hastings, second vice president and Stella Heyman, secretary. The newly elected board of directors are Jane Schweighardt, Nancy Schwartz, and Becky Yates.
The LWV is a non-partisan, non-profit organization of men and women that sponsors candidate forums, distributes voting information, and meets to discuss public policy issues of concern to its members.
