Laurelwood Arboretum Reopens After Recovering from October Storm

Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum continues to replant damaged trees and shrubs.

Laurelwood Arboretum has reopened for a long recovery effort from damage suffered by the snowstorm in October.

The arboretum features several paths, for walking or hiking, which offer attendees an opportunity to appreciate the surroundings.

The arboretum is open daily from dawn to dusk.

Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum (FOLA) reported in a press release that the damaged areas will be restored “in time.” Trees and shrubbery will be replanted and restored.

“FOLA continues to be committed to its mission of maintaining and preserving this beautiful space and ensuring a beautiful peaceful environment for the entire community,” FOLA said in a statement.
