On Saturday NJ Transit hosted an Easter Bunny Train Ride, where children got to ride the train and visit with characters such as Spider-Man and Seasame Street favorites Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Ernie.
The train headed west for a round trip into Morris County and back. The trip included historic Boonton Yard where passengers saw many of the numerous locomotives and railcars in the process of being restored for inclusion in the proposed NJ Transportation Heritage Center.
