'Housewife' Waklie Attends Gala to Support Starlight Children's Foundation
Organization will use money raised from the event to help seriously-ill children and their families.
Kathy Wakile and other local celebrities attended a gala Thursday to raise money for the Starlight Children's Foundation of New York City.
The foundation provides support for seriously-ill children and their families. The organization creates programs that helps them cope with their circumstances through entertainment, education, and family activities.
Wakile is a series regular on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." She lives in Wayne.

Other attendees included: Jacqueline Laurita, one of Wakile's castmates, tom Murro, host of "The Fox Morning Show," and Chris Nirschel, a Hoboken native and chef who appeared on "The Next Food Network Star" in 2011.
