Property Denial Appeal, School Budget Discussion and Students Perform Live This Week

Here is a sample of what you may find on Wayne Patch this week.

Here is a sample of what we're working on this week at Wayne Patch.

  • A homeowner has appealed a decision by the Planning Board to divide a 30,000 square-foot Pines Lake lakefront property into two smaller lots. The Board denied the couple’s application last September.
  • We’ll attend the eighth annual Evening with the Arts at Wayne Hills High School. We’ll let you know who performs what as the best musicians in the school district showcase their talents.
  • A second public meeting on the school district’s 2013-14 budget will be held Thursday. We’ll attend the meeting and let you know if anything has changed with the budget since the first such meeting was held a few weeks ago.
  • Longtime Wayne resident Brian David opened his own Allstate insurance agency this month. We’ll let you know why David decided to make such a move and what makes him passionate about helping others.
