Hamburg Turnpike, Ratzer Road Will Be Repaved

County announces what roads will be repaved for its 2012 road resurfacing project.

The following Wayne roads will be repaved as part of the Passaic County 2012 road resurfacing project.

  • Hamburg Turnpike from Colfax Road to Black Oak Ridge Road.
  • Ratzer Road from Valley Road to Alps Road.
  • Mountain View Boulevard from Lewis Street to Taylor Drive.
  • Newark Pompton Turnpike from Packanack Lake Road to Laytham Drive.
  • Pompton Road from Hamburg Turnpike to Haledon border.
  • Reinhardt Road from Oldham Road to Passaic County Technical Institute.

All the roads are county-owned thoroughfares.

Work is scheduled to begin this summer and be completed by the end of October.

The information comes out the same day the township issued a press release regarding an extensive $9 million safety improvement project that’s being done on Hamburg Turnpike.
