Meryl Schrank just won’t take no for an answer. The Wayne Hills High School alumni  is trying to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphomas Society’s Woman of the Year competition.

Beverage Dynamics magazine named Gary’s Wine & Marketplace the Retailer of the Year for its commitment to giving its customers a unique shopping experience. The 24,000 square-foot facility also hosts regular special events and wine tastings.

Local and state officials recommended that development in the Passaic River Flood Basin be severely cut down and stopped at a special symposium hosted at William Paterson University.

A Superior Court judge ruled Monday that the Way Education Center had all of the proper documents in order when it submitted its application to relocate a school to Totowa Road and place dormitories on the property earlier this year.

Committees have begun interviewing candidates for the four principal positions district officials announced were available last week.

Superintendent Ray Gonzalez said he hopes to recommend individuals to fill the positions at the next Board of Education May 17.
