Christmas Fire Victims to Benefit From Fundraiser

Applebee's breakfast will be held Jan. 27 in Totowa.

The friends of the Schweighardts will hold a fundraiser for the family at Applebee's in Totowa on Jan. 27.

The family's Beechwood Drive home was severely damaged during a fire on Christmas night. The family was not home during the incident. The family has received support from local families and organizations since the incident. 

A flapjack breakfast will be held at the restaurant from 8 to 10 a.m. Tickets cost $10.

The Wayne Valley field hockey team and the school's National Honor Society are sponsoring the event. 

The meal will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and a beverage.
