First Aid Squad Helping One of Its Own

Squad raising money for Jeff Razen's family to help pay medical bills.

The Wayne First Aid Squad will sell clam chowder and host a beefsteak dinner this month to help member Jeff Razen and his family.

Razen was recently diagnosed with stage four brain cancer. The squad is raising money to help Razen's family pay for medical bills.

"Jeff is such a great person," said Stu Steinberg, president of the squad. "We just want to do something to help him and his family."

New England and Manhattan chowder varieties will be sold for $6 per quart.

Orders can be picked at the squad’s Mountainview location on Rohrbach Memorial Way on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rohrbach is located between Pal Drive and Taylor Drive in the Mountainview section of town.

The squad will also hold a beefsteak dinner at the on Sunday, April 29 from 4 to 8 p.m.

The dinner costs $45. Admission includes a beefsteak dinner, beer, soda, and a cash bar.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a tricky tray.
