Hackensack University Medical Center physicians will serve as medical directors of MinuteClinics walk-in medical clinics.

In a partnership with CVS and MinuteClinics division, Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) physicians will serve as medical directors for six CVS MinuteClinics. These clinics offer patients walk-in services for common illnesses and wellness and prevention services, such as cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure screening and monitoring.

Under this agreement, HUMC physicians will also refer patients to one another when additional care is needed that the MinuteClinic cannot provide to the patient.

In addition to this collaboration, the patient can give permission for the MinuteClinic to electronically share their medical history with HUMC locations in northeast New Jersey.
