Islamic Center of Passaic County Outreach Director Mohamed El filali has spoken out against the bombings at the Boston Marathon. El filali recently told NJ Today that the aftermath of the act has been particularly difficult for Muslims.

El filali said members of the Muslim community were among the first to condemn the bombings.

He called the bombing “an act of violence that has destroyed innocent lives, that has taken the fiber of the American people to a different dimension where we would not want to be all together.
