Congressional, Board of Education Candidates Will Face Off This Week

Here are some of the stories we’re working on this week for Wayne Patch.

• We’ll attend the Wayne Board of Education candidates night and let you know where the five candidates stand on the issues that affect education in town.
• Congressional incumbent Rodney Frelinghuysen and Democratic challenger John Arvanites will face off in a debate at William Paterson University on Wednesday. We’ll attend the debate and let you know what issues the candidates discuss.
• Every school bus in the Wayne Public School District was inspected by the state recently. We’ll let you know how many of the buses passed inspection and what safety initiatives officials are putting in place to ensure students’ safety.
