Concerned Citizens to Host Presentation on the Affordable Care Act Monday

Meeting sponsored by non-partisan group designed to educate residents about what the legislation means for them and their families.

The Concerned Citizens of Wayne (CCW) will be sponsoring another educational forum, this time, about The Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Robert Schermer, a self-employed health services planner with more than 40 years experience in the field, will discuss the sweeping legislation and how it affects local families. Residents may ask questions during the open forum.

The CCW is a non-partisan group of residents founded with the idea of educating people about local and national issues, like the ACA, affect them and their families.

The group was founded last year as a result of a string of burglaries that occurred in town in early 2012 and late 2011. The group held a meeting with local law enforcement officials to discuss the burglaries.

The forum will be held at the main library branch beginning at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
