Flooding closes some streets.

A car crashed into a traffic signal pole at Black Oak Ridge and Ratzer Roads near the La Quinta Inn shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

The pole fell across Black Oak Ridge Road, causing traffic delays in the area. Police set up detours and diverted traffic around the accident onto Route 23.

It could not be determined if anyone was hurt in the accident, how long it would take to repair the pole, or how long the detours would be in effect. The New Jersey Department of Transportation was notified of the incident. A repair crew arrived on scene at approximately 9:20 p.m.
