Budget Details to Be Discussed, Snowmen will be Built This Week

Here's a sample of what we're working on this week for Wayne Patch.

Here are a few of the things we’re working on this week for Wayne Patch.

  • We’ll attend a special public meeting on next year’s school district’s budget. The meeting will be held on Wednesday at Wayne Hills High School. The school district’s budget has steadily increased in recent years.
  • We’ll let you know what plans David Ostern has for the Wayne Public School District. Ostern, a senior at Wayne Hills High School, is one of two student representatives to the Board of Education. We’ll tell you how Ostern approaches his job and the potential he sees for the district in the future.
  • There is a snowman building contest scheduled for Saturday at the Van Riper Hopper House from noon to 3 p.m. We’ll attend the contest, show you how creative residents can be and who wins the contest.
