7:05 p.m.: Mayor Christopher Vergano will introduce local dignitaries and light the tree.
7:10 p.m.: There will be a holiday sing-a-long of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
7:15 to 8 p.m. Residents may visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the choir will perform holiday songs.
The Wayne Junior Women’s Club will sell cookies and brownies at a nominal fee. All proceeds will go to the Wayne Food Pantry.

The event is a cooperative effort between the Wayne Township Department of Parks and Recreation and the Wayne Historical Commission.
The tree at the Van Riper-Hopper House will also be lit that night. However, no celebration will be held because of safety concerns regarding traffic and parking along Berdan Avenue.
Tours of the house are available throughout the holiday season. Call 973-694-7192 form more information.
