A Wayne man living near Anthony Wayne Middle School was charged with possession of cocaine after the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant at the man’s home last Sunday.

Alleged Prostitutes Busted at Local Hotels

Six women were charged with solicitation of prostitution after the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office conducted a sweep of hotels throughout the county.

Property Owner Saves $600K

Willowbrook Center LLC will receive a $600,000 refund for taxes it paid between 2009 and 2012. The council approved a measure settling a tax appeal with the owner of the building.

Kmart Sold Expired Baby Food

The Kmart Wayne store was one of 19 stores across the state found carrying expired items, the Attorney General revealed recently. 

JCP&L Complaint will be Filed Soon

The town’s complaint against Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) will be filed with the state Board of Public Utilities, Mayor Chris Vergano said at a council meeting.
