A New Diner, A Lover Of History, And A Flood Meeting

Here's what we're working on this week at Wayne Patch.

Here is a sample of what we're working on this week at Wayne Patch:

  • The Monarch Diner opened recently on Route 23, next to Fuddruckers. We'll let you know more about the family-owned business that is the latest in a series of diners to be located there.
  • The Van Riper-Hopper House is a place filled with history. Adriana Mariella is intering at the hosue. She is lover of history. We'll let you know what she finds so fasinating about history.
  • There is a new children's salon that opened up in town recently. We'll let you know more about it. Maybe your kids will actually like going to get a haircut after all.
  • We'll find out more about a meeting being held in September regarding local flooding. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other local and state officials are expected to outline progress and future plans for combatting flooding in the Passaic River Flood Basin.
