2 Plant Sales to be Held This Weekend

Laurelwood Arboretum, St. Michael's Episcopal Church hosting events.

Residents will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of plants and herbs this weekend.

  • Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum (FOLA) will host a plant sale on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A large selection of plants, including annuals, perennials, and a selection of plants grown in the Arboretum’s greenhouses will be available to purchase. Homegrown plants and garden-related items can be purchased as well.

Laurelwood Arboretum is a 30-acre nature preserve featuring a wide variety of trees, flowers, and plants, including daylilies and lilacs. It is located at 725 Pines Lake Drive West.

Proceeds from the sale will go to FOLA, a non-profit that works to perverse and maintain the arboretum.

  • Plants and vegetables will also be sold at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A large selection of packed flowers, hanging baskets, herbs, and vegetables will be available to purchase.
