Enterprise Holdings Continues To Support The American Cancer Society
In addition to the $30,000 donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life initiatives this past year, the New York regional operations team of Enterprise Holdings continued to support the organization with their participation in the October Making Strides events throughout New York and New Jersey. Enterprise Holdings, through its regional subsidiaries, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands. Its employees raised an additional $6,000 to support the American Cancer Society in its mission to help people get well, stay well and fight back, while researching and finding a cure for breast cancer.
“We are proud to continue to support the American Cancer Society through their Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walks,” said Carole Lakin, Enterprise group cultural relations manager for the New York regional team. “We want to thank all of our employees and their families and friends for raising these additional funds and supporting this worthy cause."
Enterprise employees also walked in a number of Making Strides events, volunteered their time for set up and clean up, and manned Enterprise booths with giveaways and prizes for all walk attendees.

The Making Strides Walks provide an opportunity to unite communities to celebrate people who have battled breast cancer, educate people about ways to reduce their risk and empower communities to join the fight.
