New Hibachi Grill Has 'Something for Everyone'

New all-you-can-eat restaurant opened a few weeks ago.

The new Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet has a little something for everyone.

Owner Leon Liu opened the restaurant a few weeks ago. Located on Hamburg Turnpike near the Valley Road intersection, a similar buffet exited at the location for several months before closing down.

“We want to have something for everyone,” Liu said. “Sushi, seafood and hibachi-style food is all very popular so there’s a lot to choose from.”

Patrons can choose to serve themselves as much as they want from one of many stations, each featuring a different selection of traditional American fare to a variety of traditional Chinese dishes.

There’s hibachi beef, black pepper chicken and fried salmon at one station and barbecued meats at another. There’s also a salad bar with several fixings, fresh fruit, and several kinds of deserts to choose from.

The selection of freshly-made sushi varies daily.

“We’re trying a few things out each week and switching things around for now, trying to get an idea of what people like,” said Liu. “There’s always something new we can offer.”

Liu also owns a hibachi-style restaurant in South Jersey. He opened the Wayne restaurant because of the location and the people who live in the area.

“There’s a lot of people around here who like this kind of food and who want to meet for lunch or for a business meeting,” Liu said.

Prices range from $8.49 to $3.49 for lunch and $5.59 and $11.99 for dinner. Only dinner prices are available on Sundays. Children 2 and younger eat free. Prices do not include drinks. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Take out is available.
