Fairway Market Opening Newest Location June 6

Fairway Market, a New York City-based gourmet market chain, in the Kohl's shopping center on Route 46 West June 6.

The 63,000-square-foot store, which will open at 11 a.m., will feature a vast selection of beer, wines, and spirits, as well as more than 600 artisanal cheeses and various imported specialty items.

Dozens of hot dishes will be prepared fresh in Fairway's kitchen. Also available will be homemade mozzarella, sushi, pasta, and 45,000 traditional, specialty, and organic groceries.

More than 100 varieties of olive oils will be on sale, as well as more than 70 types of olives.

In general, Fairway stores have long specialized in produce and fish, roasting their own coffee on site, and offering a large organic selection of products. They hand make their own mozzarella and boast in-store bakeries.

The store will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There are nine Fairway markets in the tri-state area, including one in Paramus.
