MINCHA, MARIV, HAVDALAH

MINCHA, MARIV, HAVDALAH

At least once a month Shomrei Torah families and guests gather at the synagogue for an informal Shabbat Mincha service followed by Seudat Shlishit (third meal of the day), Mariv and, a particulary beautiful service called Havdalah.  The services are relatively brief and the atmosphere and dress attire are both casual.  The next gathering will take place on Saturday, February 5 at 5:00 pm.  This is a great opportunity for families to mingle and meet new neighbors and to start off an evening and a new week.  You'll be out the door by 7:00 pm!

Shomrei Torah also has regular weekday evening services, at 7:45 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and upon request on other days and morning minyan at 7:00 am Monday to Friday (Breakfast is served on Fridays) and 9:00 am on Sundays and holidays.  Shabbat services are on Friday nights generally at 6:30 or 8:00 pm (depending on the particular date) and Shabbat morning services start at a new time – 9:30 am – with an optional study session led by Rabbi Mark beginning at 9:00 am.
