Diners Offer Senior Citizens a Discount This Week

Promotion is part of the county-wide Senior Citizens Appreciation Week.

Senior citizens from Wayne can enjoy a discount at the Park Wayne Diner and the Wayne Hills Diner through Aug. 24 as part of the Passaic County Senior Citizens Appreciation Week.

Senior citizens will receive 10 percent off of their purchase at either establishment.

“Senior Citizens are not a particular race, religions, culture, or group; they come from every walk of life and have contributed so much to bless our society,” said Freeholder Hector Lora.

The Park Wayne Diner is located at 721 Hamburg Turnpike. The Wayne Hills Diner is located at 1465 Hamburg Turnpike.

More than 20 businesses throughout the county are offering special discounts to senior citizens as part of the program.
