Quick Chek, Kids to Perform in 'Rent' and More from Wayne Patch

Another Quick Chek convenience store may be built on Hamburg Turnpike. A Quick Chek store and a gas station is being constructed on Hamburg Turnpike across from 7-Eleven.

Children will stage a production of “Rent” at the Wayne YMCA at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $26. The musical is about failing in love and is set in New York City’s East Village.

Although the musical deals with mature themes, this version of “Rent” has been adapted for use in schools and by children.
