Hundreds Walk in Pursuit of Cure for Breast Cancer

Bank holds annual Valley Goes Pink charity walk on Saturday. Event raises money for Valley National Bank's Cure Breast Cancer Foundation.

The line of pink stretched for hundreds of feet.

People slowly made their way out of the Valley National Bank (VNB) parking lot on Valley Road for the fourth annual Valley Goes Pink charity walk Saturday. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"I hope we find a cure, that's why I'm here. I think we all know someone who's been affected by breast cancer," said Susan Bardenier, a Cliffside Park resident. "It's great that we have a month to really bring attention to it."
