Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group Will Meet Aug. 8

Local adult health care facility hosting monthly event.

A support group for caregivers of people suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease will meet at the on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.

The meeting provides support to people caring for a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-based disease.

Kerri Sherer, a licensed social worker, will facilitate the meeting.

Information about area social services will be available. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions, express their feelings freely and openly, and share helpful knowledge to others facing similar situations.

This support group is held the second Wednesday or every month at the facility.
