Wayne Girl, 13, Performed With Queen Latifah's Super Bowl Chorus

The girl was part of the chorus that sang 'America the Beautiful' right before the big game.

A 13-year-old singer from Wayne said she got the opportunity of a lifetime when Queen Latifah asked her chorus to sing 'America the Beautiful' alongside her at the Super Bowl last week, NorthJersey.com reported.

Brenna Moran, and eighth grader at Schuyler-Colfax Middle School, is a three-year member of the New Jersey Youth Chorus, the report said.

According to NorthJersey.com, Latifah searched YouTube to find a singing group she wanted to perform with, contacted the group's director in secret, and then asked the 70-plus members of the NJYC to sing with her over Skype.

According to the Maplewood Patch, in addition to performing Sunday, the chorus performed on Super Bowl Boulevard in Times Square on Friday evening. They sang from the Great American Song Book.
