Wayne Chef Contestant on 'Hell's Kitchen'

Executive chef at the township's Tony's Touch of Italy II is one of four contestants from New Jersey on this season of the Fox reality show, report says.

A chef from a Wayne restaurant is one of 20 contestants fighting for the shot to work with celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay on season 12 of Hell’s Kitchen.

According to a NorthJersey.com report, Anton Testino, 40, a Butler resident and executive chef of Tony's Touch of Italy II in Wayne, joined the cast because of his previous work on reality cooking TV.

Testino appeared on a 2010 episode of the Food Network competition show, Chopped, and lost, the report said. The chef hopes Hell’s Kitchen, which has already been taped, will be his comeback, it said.

"It's actually the most amazing experience I've ever had,” Testino told NorthJersey.com of being on Hell’s Kitchen.

“I can't wait for the world to see it."
