Posche Owner Receives Peace Prize
Kim DePaola, owner of Posche boutique, receives 'America's answer to the Nobel Prize.'
Kim DePaola, the best friend of embattled "Real Housewife" Teresa Giudice, has received the Peace Ambassador Award from Harvey Manes.
DePaola, who goes by "Kim D" on "RHONJ," owns the tiny Posche boutique in town.
Manes founded the Manes-American Peace Prize in 2008. The awards recognize citizens who promote peace between races, nations, religions, and people.
"This is America's answer to the Nobel Prize, which has become publicized," Manes told realitytea.com.
A video posted on YouTube featuring an interview with DePaola does not contain any information on what she did to deserve the award.
DePaola has been at the center of multiple incidents on "RHONJ."
Joe Gorga, Chris Laurita, and Albie Manzo got into a physical altercation with an attendee on March 30 at the grand opening of DePaola's Posche 2 store in Ridgewood.
Police were called to the Posche fashion show in 2009 at the North Jersey Country Club in town. Jacqueline Laurita's daughter allegedly pulled out then-cast member Danielle Staub's hair extensions.
