Photographer Aims to 'Spark Curiosity' at Art Museum

Several of Cathy Pilkin's creations will be shown as part of an art show at the Montclair Art Museum in June.

Cathy Pilkin, a Wayne resident, will have several pieces of artwork she created on display at the Montclair Art Museum next month.

Pilkin’s artwork will be a part of "Collecting Art: An Affordable Art Fair" at the museum June 8 and 9.

“I see beauty in decay and abandonment, of what once was and how it is now,” Piklin states on her website. “Somewhere in those images a story or memory is embedded, and I’d like to spark your curiosity to ask what, where, and why?”

The fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
