College Students Who Left Money at Buddy's Rewarded for Honesty

The men paid for merchandise at the store by leaving money on the counter when no one came to help them.

The William Paterson University students who left money at Buddy’s for merchandise they wanted to purchase just thought someone was on a break.

The four men appeared on the Today show Wednesday morning.

The young men entered the store, which was closed, via the unlocked front door. The manager said the door’s lock was broken. The lights were on and the men just walked in, got what they needed, and left the money, including the sales tax, for the merchandise on the counter.

“We had to get back to practice so we just showed the money to the camera and just left,” said Anthony Biondi.

They reportedly received $50 gift cards to the store from the manager as a reward for their honesty.
