What Would You Like to See at the old Wayne Towne Center?

Some development has occurred, but much of the property is still vacant

The signs still stand on the perimeter of the property, a reminder of what used to be there.

JC Penny is all that remains of the Wayne Towne Center. The Center was originally called the West Belt Mall when it was constructed in the 1970s. Many of the secondary stores began moving out in the mid-1990s. Fortunoff closed down in 2009 and most of the building has been torn down. A fence lines the perimeter of the demolished structure. Several restaurants have been constructed in the Center's former parking lot.

We here at Patch were wondering, would you like to see another mall constructed on the property? If so, what realtors would you like it to contain? Let us know by posting a comment, below.
