Wayne to Host Memorial Day Parade on Valley Road

Wreath-laying ceremony will follow the parade.

According to the townshipThe Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held on Valley Road on Monday, May 26, beginning at 10 a.m. A wreath-laying ceremony immediately following parade.

The Wayne Board of Education recently elaborated on the event in an email blast to parents

"A parade of floats, local high school bands, the Passaic County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, and an ROTC Naval Unit will begin at the Ramapo Shopping Center and proceed down Valley Road before concluding at the Municipal Building with a ceremony honoring local veterans. Parade start time is at 10 a.m. Free admission. 

Be sure to get your blanket or lawn chairs out there early, because prime viewing spots fill up quickly."
