Wayne Memorial Day Parade to Close Roads Monday

Parade is set to include marching bands and a ceremony for veterans.

Wayne's Memorial Day Parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. Monday. According to the township, it will run on Valley Road between Ratzer and Nellis.

According to a post from the police department, the parade will close the following roadways:

  • Valley Road between Hamburg Turnpike and Ratzer Rd will be closed from 9-11 a.m.
  • Valley Road from Ratzer Road to Nellis Drive will be closed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
The parade is set to include high school bands, the Passaic County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, and an ROTC Naval Unit. It will end up at town hall with a ceremony honoring veterans.
