Valley National Collecting Toys, Clothes for Sandy Victims

Wayne-based bank partnering with Guardians of the Ribbon to help Central, South Jersey victims of Tropical Storm Sandy.

Valley National Bank is collecting toys, clothes, and gift cards for victims of Tropical Storm Sandy.

Residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys, clothes, and gift cards to the bank’s headquarters at 1455 Valley Road weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, Dec. 14.

Items will be distributed to residents of Toms River, Lavallette, Seaside, and Ortley Beach. Those municipalities were severely damaged by Sandy several weeks ago.

Valley National Bank is the latest business to partner with Guardians of the Ribbon to help Sandy victims.  

Guardians is a Wayne-based women’s cancer awareness group that attends fundraisers and charity events. The group’s pink fire truck has been at multiple Wayne events this year.
