Major Redevelopment Plans Discussed, Breast Cancer Fundraiser and More from Wayne Patch

Town Planner John Szabo gave a presentation on a sweeping plan to redevelop several major commercial and industrial areas of the township at a Planning Board meeting Monday night.

Redevelopment is something the town desperately needs. The changes stem from an examination of the township’s Master Plan. The Board will consider the changes and may vote on sweeping changes to try and ensure the development occurs as soon as possible.

A special breast cancer fundraiser hosted by Femme Fit will be held at the Wayne Police Athletic League later on this year. Funds from the event will be donated to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
