EARLY FAMILY SERVICES

On several Fridays each year Shomrei Torah, the Wayne Conservative Congregation, replaces its usual 8:00 pm Shabbat service with a special service at 6:30 p.m specifically geared toward families.  Traditional prayers are interspersed with songs and stories, hands-on child participation, and special birthday blessings for those with birthdays since the last Early Family Shabbat.  A special Oneg Shabbat (dessert reception) replete with cupcakes and other goodies follows.  This is a wonderful opportunity for young families to come together.  The next Early Family Shabbat will be held on November 4.

Shomrei Torah is an egalitarian Conservative congregation located at 30 Hinchman Avenue, Wayne, NJ.  For more information, please contact the synagogue office at 973-696-2500 or office@shomreitorahwcc.org or see the website at www.ShormeiTorahWCC.org.
