Barbecue to Raise Money for Crash Victim
Elissa Betterbid was seriously injured when an alleged drunken driver crashed head-on into her vehicle.
A fundraiser for Elissa Betterbid and her family will be held at the Packanack Lake Clubhouse on Saturday.
The event will raise money to help pay for Betterbid’s medical bills and help the family finances while Betterbid recovers from an automobile accident.
Betterbid was seriously injured when an alleged drunk driver hit her head-on in Newburgh, N.Y. in August. She suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized.

There will be a barbecue, appetizers, side dishes, and desserts served. Beer and wine will also be available and a live band will perform. The fundraiser will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $50 in advance, $60 at the door.
