Pines Lake Offers Lakeside Recreational Living Within Passaic County

WAYNE, N.J. – (July 24, 2014) – Pines Lake, a community of approximately 770 homes in Wayne Township, offers residents a chance to own a piece of lakeside recreational living within Passaic County that is less than an hour from New York City. Pines Lake itself is a mile long and a mile wide, spanning 168 acres and five miles of shoreline.

According to the Pines Lake Association, members own roughly a 1/600th share of the lake, as well as a share of scenic North Island and a few smaller islands on the lake that are home to waterfowl and only accessible by boat. Residents also own a share in three beaches: West Beach, South Beach and Indian Road Beach. West Beach and South Beach both offer lifeguard protection. South Beach plays host to several community activities such as swimming lessons and a swim team, many children’s activities and adult social events. Association members also own a share of the dam and the Glen, another spot to enjoy the natural setting of the area. The community also offers sailing clubs for all ages, fishing, tennis, a gardening club and a senior citizen’s club. Pines Lake is the home of Laurelwood Arboretum, which features woodland trails and gardens, wildlife, ponds, steams and hundreds of species of plants and trees.

Carole “Lynn” Brescia is a broker sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes and represents homebuyers and sellers in Pines Lake. Brescia said homes in the community range in price from approximately $300,000 to over $3 million.

“Pines Lake homes are in demand because the community offers such versatility. Residents can enjoy year-round lakeside living at its best, or they can utilize Pines Lake as an ideal retreat from busy daily lives elsewhere,” said Brescia.
