THURSDAY - AUGUST 22 Immigration Reform Action Event: Visit to Rep. Frelinghuysen's Congressional Office - meet at 11:00am This Thursday will be our regular every-other-Thursday visit to Congressman Frelinghuysen's Morristown District Office. This will be our fourth visit since mid-July, and we know we are making an impression. We have been making steady and positive progress with his office staff - who know us now! - and towards our goal to secure a meeting with the Congressman, or with his District Director, so a good attendance at this final visit for August and the ability to leave a strong impression as our month of action come to an end, will be important. In the past few weeks, at least 5 Republicans have signaled their support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform with a path to citizenship, yet the legislation will face an uphill challenge to pass the House, so we need to keep the pressure on Congress. OFA supporters will be meeting outside Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen's 11th District office in Morristown at 11:00 on Thursday, August 22 to let him know that his constituents support Comprehensive Immigration Reform and are here to stay, and that he will continue to regularly hear from us! .
