95.5 PLJ Morning Crew Will Rock Passaic County March for Babies

Walk is happening next week at Wayne Hills High School.

The Morning Crew from 95.5 PLJ will be joining the thousand participants at the Passaic County March for Babies on Sunday April 27, 2014 at Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, NJ. March for Babies is the annual March of Dimes signature fundraiser, which funds its ongoing work to help all babies get a healthy start in life.  More than 4 million babies were born in the United States last year and the March of Dimes helped each and every one through research, education, vaccines and breakthroughs.

Registration will begin at 8:00 am and the walk will start at 9:00 am. The four mile walk route begins on the back field of Wayne Hills High School located on Berdan Avenue. Bagels and coffee will be provided before the walk and burgers, courtesy of The Counter Burger of Clifton, will be served upon the return. Activities, games and a bounce house will be available for children.

This year, participants are invited to bring team posters to be displayed at the Family Teams tent. This will provide a great way to honor New Jersey babies.

Bruce Cialfi of PSA Healthcare is chairing the walk this year to raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes.

PLJ will have its Party Patrol on site for the event. The Morning Crew will welcome the crowd and will also be joining Zumba instructor Leyla Cicen in leading the walkers in a pre-walk warm up Zumba. Lincoln of Wayne will also be at the walk, providing free no obligation test drives. They will donate $20 for each test drive taken during the event, up to $8000, to the Passaic March for Babies campaign.
