, why not twist the knife in deeper?

House Republicans just narrowly approved a bill that would kick 4 million people off food stamps next year. Because at a time when there are three unemployed workers for every job, leaving the poor desperate and out of options, why not twist the knife in deeper?

Special mention goes to the spineless members of New Jersey’s delegation, who voted for this draconian cut. They are: Reps. Scott Garrett (R-5th Dist.), Jon Runyan (R-3rd Dist.), Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th Dist.) — and even Leonard Lance (R-7th Dist.), who used to be the face of moderation. NJ.com
