Roller Derbies, Back to School Night and More Wednesday

Here are a few things going on in Wayne today and something you’ll find out more about.

We’ll tell you about the Jerzey Derby Brigade, a roller derby team that competes in Morris County. The team’s co-owner Sandra Obringer spoke to Patch about her experiences participating in a very physically demanding, and sometimes painful, sport.

Back to School night will be held at James Fallon Elementary School and George Washington Middle School at 7 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 107 is accepting new members. The troop will meet at St. Mary’s Church on Pompton Avenue in Pompton Lakes beginning at 7:15 p.m. Several Wayne residents are members already. For more information, click here.
