Here are few things going on in Wayne today and a few things you may find on Wayne Patch.
- A public hearing on a massive redevelopment plan will be held at 7:30 p.m. at a Planning Board meeting. The plan is designed to improve the town’s ratable base and stabilize tax increases.
- Children can read to a dog at the library’s Preakness branch at 3:45 p.m. Children will have the chance to read to a therapy dog. The program is designed to get children to love to read. There will be a second session held at 4:10 p.m. For children 5 to 10 years old.

- Dr. Patrick Barry will give a lecture on how to avoid knee replacement surgery at the High Definition Personal Training Center at 7 p.m. The center is located at 1700 Route 23 North, Suite 200.
