Mayoral, Council Candidates will Answer Questions Today
League of Women Voters is sponsoring candidates' forum.
Mayoral candidates Chris Vergano and Jane Hutchinson will answer questions at a candidates’ forum Wednesday at town hall.
Vegano, Hutchinson, and the candidates for the 1st Ward and at large council seats will answer questions posed by representatives from the League of Women Voters.
At large Republican council incumbents Joseph Schweighardt, Lonni Miller Ryan, and James Jimenez are running for re-election to three-year terms. They are facing off against Democrats Bethania Marranzini-Marmolejo, Victor Alfieri, and James Jorgensen.

Democrat Gary Marchese and Incumbent Republican Richard Jasterzbski are running to serve out the rest of Alan Purcell’s 1st Ward term, which ends in 2015. Jasterzbski was appointed to replace Purcell, who resigned from office, earlier this year.
The event will begin at 7 p.m.; it will be broadcast online and on cable channel 77.
