Right to the point, Ms Rivera...the BOE still seems insensitive to the tax burden especially onRead Moreseni ors. Or unwilling to cut the administrative bureaucracy. Let's remember all the township council members who have said they have never voted for a tax increase and those who said they would resist them. Time to get contact every public official who can never find a way to reduce property taxes but never lack a rationale for raising them. This not a Republican or Democrat issue, it's a citizen lifestyle issue. How long can we continue to take $ from our family budget to support ever growing bureaucracies especially at the Passaic County and municipal levels. Remember there is a Freeholder election in November. Turn out for Freeholder debates and presentations elsewhere and what they will specifically cut. Same with Wayne Council meetings.

It is UNCONSCIONABLE that this Board of Education is NOT presenting a budget resulting in a taxRead Moredecr ease; and not just by a slim margin, but by a significant amount! That is how much we have had to adjust our lifestyle to continue to afford to pay our taxes. No vacation, limited driving, 60 degrees all winter, no special treats at the grocery store, no new clothes, etc. Yes, some of us have to live that way because others of us are either greedy or irresponsible or both. It sucks to live in Wayne as the burden just grows and grows. Typical bureaucrats, the Board is GUTLESS when it comes to telling parents, students and especially teachers, other staff and the grossly overpaid Superintendent that they cannot have everything! Wayne taxpayers have been more than generous, but the hands are always open, grabbing for more. Residents are at the breaking point and have been for several years. The Board has ignored this situation year after year. When does it end? Perhaps when the mass exodus from Wayne reaches a tipping point where these elitist clowns are also affected, since they will be left behind with the ever-increasing share of the burden. Your neighbors will remember you…from somewhere OTHER THAN Wayne, and not fondly.

Ok, so this comment shouldn't de-rail her candidacy. Too much is often made of sound bites. Read MorePerhap s it will just be her record in the White House and carpet-bagging tenure as Senator will do her in. She would have made a better President than Obama for sure, but do we really want 4-8 MORE years this ideological zealotry ruining what's left of our economy and first-world status? That doesn't even take into account her very serious health issues which would leave a large risk that the VP will have to take over at some point during her term.

Unfortunately, in the video age that we live in, everything becomes political. Wasn't it political Read Morewhen Code Pink was screaming "Bush lied, People died"? Weren't the Swift Boat attacks political. She will have her record to run on, and the people will decide. Although I am not to sure she will run.
