Wayne Valley Cheerleaders Take Second at State Championship Competition
Team is heading to Florida later on this month to try and win a national championship.
The Wayne Valley High School Competition Cheerleading Team came in second place at the 20th annual State Cheerleading Championship in Trenton this week.
The team is hosting a regional cheerleading competition at Wayne Valley on Sunday.
The Wayne Hills Competition Cheerleading Team will perform at 3:50 p.m.; Wayne Valley is scheduled to perform at 5:15 p.m.
The team will then head to Orlando, Fla. later on this month to compete for a national competition.
In related news, the Wayne Hills High School Competitive Cheerleading Team has come in first place in three competitions this year.
