'The Wedding Singer,' 'Curtains' on Stage at High Schools
Wayne Valley students will present 'The Wedding Singer. Wayne Hills students to stage a performance of 'Curtains.'
“The Wedding Singer” will be performed at Wayne Valley High School March 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 p.m.
The play, which is based on the movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, tells the story of Robbie Hart, a wedding singer who is dumped by his fiancée but finds true love with a waitress.
Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens.
“Curtains” will be on stage at Wayne Hills March 21, 22, and 23 at 7 p.m. A matinee showing will be performed March 23 at 2 p.m.
The musical is about a murder mystery plot set in Boston in 1959. The star of “Robbin’ Hood of the Old West” is murdered during her opening night curtain call. Lt. Frank Cioffi must try and solve the mystery of who killed the star.
